Hello. I’m Jessar Qais, a security researcher and penetration tester based in Oslo, Norway. I focus mainly on web application security and vulnerability research. Here, I’ll primarily write about some of my vulnerability findings discovered with my brother Qais Qais.

My work has been publicly acknowledged by organizations such as NASA, Ferrari, Oracle, Philips, and Norsk Helsenett. I’m also on the PortSwigger Web Security Academy Hall of Fame for completing all 270 labs, and I hold certifications including CPTS and eWPT.

I regularly compete in CTFs, where I’ve participated in Equinor CTF, NahamCon CTF, and Cyberlandslaget CTF Finals. Outside of security, I enjoy reading, drawing, martial arts, and playing the piano.
